Orezone Gold Corporation (ORE:TSXV) is a Canadian exploration and development company which owns a 90% interest in the Bomboré project in Burkina Faso. The project has a large oxide resource underlain by a larger and open sulphide resource. The Company plans to develop the project in two stages. The first stage of development will be the large free-digging oxide zone. This will then be followed by development of several higher-grade sulphide zones starting in year 3 of the oxide operations and funded by oxide cashflows. Development in phases will reduce the initial capital expenditure requirements, while allowing simple expansion into the sulphide zones with the addition of a separate crushing and grinding circuit. The Company’s Board and Management have extensive experience in mine development and operations with a focus in West Africa.
